Obituary for Imogene Beshara

Imogene Beshara, 89, of Chouteau, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on October 22, 1927 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, the daughter of Lark M. Hobbs and Alma E. (Vogt) Hobbs. Imogene had lived in the Chouteau area for over 30 years. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially bird watching and her flowers. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren. Imogene was a sweet very special momma who will be so very missed by all whose lives she touched.

Funeral Services for Imogene will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Shipman’s Funeral Chapel with Bishop Q. L. Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the Chouteau West Cemetery in Chouteau, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Beshara-Cox of Jasper, Arkansas; son, Farrell Curtsinger of Langley, Oklahoma; brother, Delmar Hobbs of Indiana; sisters, Donna Surine of Pryor, Oklahoma, Dixie Wilson of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Wanda Kirby of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lark and Alma Hobbs; brothers, Floyd, Claude, Cecil and Clyde Hobbs; and sister, Gladys Hert
