Jessie Lee Coker, 81, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 25, 1930 on Indian Territory in Delaware County. She married James Coker, who preceded her in death. She enjoyed quilting and sewing . She worked a few years as a nurse aid and for the Lakeview Lodge in Spavinaw, where she had made her home until moving to Pryor. She was a lovely lady who will be so very missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Shipman's Funeral Chapel with Reverend J. D. Lancaster officiating. Interment will be in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Friday afternoon with Gary Don Hogshooter, Wesley Leach, D. J. Hogshooter, Tyler Hogshooter, Dustin Jumper and Michael Lansaw serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers are Brent "Poke" Jumper, Stevie Smoke, Dale Lansaw, Rusty Hogshooter, Rayna Buzzard, Dakota Hogshooter. She is survived by her children, Walter Hogshooter, of Vinita, OK, Ronald Hogshooter of Muskogee, OK, David Hogshooter and wife Lilly of Disney, OK , Gary Hogshooter of Pryor, OK, Brenda and husband, Denny Eglian of Pryor, OK, Rachel Pickle and husband, Mark of Grove, OK, Sheila Jumper and husband, Roosvelt of Vinita, OK, Naomi Hogshooter of Pryor, OK; adopted daughter, Desaree Hogshooter of Pryor, OK; brother , Roy Vann of El Paso, TX; 24 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; one daughter, Mary Ann Hogshooter Smoke; one son, Robert Hogshooter; one brother, Jim Vann; sisters, Reva Hollis, Norma Jean Wittington, Dorothy Vann; five grandchildren.
