Merril Lee Stott was born on August 20, 1928, in Burt, IA, to Wyot and Elsie (Ringsdorf) Stott. Surrounded by his loving family, he died at home on June 22, 2018. When Merril was a sophomore in high school, he moved with his family to Lebanon, MO. There he met his lifelong love, Mildred Wagoner, beginning to court her as he worked at a soda fountain.
