Robert Max Bryant, 72, of Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011 in Pryor. He was born on September 9, 1939 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of W. C. Bryant Jr. and Beatrice Mae (Raper) Bryant. He graduated from Chouteau High School in 1957, working for several companies before attending Medical Lab School working for Craig General Hospital as a Medical Lab Tech and xray Tech. He later worked for Grand Valley Hospital, then Physicians Lab of Pryor and on to Vinita Medical Association, retiring in 2003. He became CLEET certified as a security officer and worked for the Casino in Catoosa, American Airlines, GRDA Coal Plant, and General Mills. He later started with the Quality Control Lab at Red Devil, Inc. leaving in 2009 to enjoy home life. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Cooks Club and the National Rifle Association. Robert was of the Orthodox Christian Faith. He married Djubaedah Sastrasasmita on November 24, 1998 in Roswell, New Mexico. Robert enjoyed life and will be so very missed by all who knew and loved him. Graveside Services for Robert will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the Chouteau West Cemetery in Chouteau, Oklahoma with Becky Hawkins officiating. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The family asks memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or a Charity of your choice. He is survived by his wife, Djubaedah of the home; his children, Robert Kevin Bryant of Oklahoma City, OK and Jason Keith Bryant of Hulbert, Oklahoma and Crystal Lynn Koch of Kilgore, TX; brothers, Jerry Clark Bryant and wife, Sharon of Chouteau, OK and W. C. Bryant III and wife, Carla of Tulsa, OK; sisters, Betty Jean Hofmeister and husband, John of Chouteau, OK and Virginia Sue McDonald of Alexandria, VA; 8 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. C. Bryant Jr. and Beatrice Mae Bryant.
