Allene Kay Sebela, born on August 6, 1950, in Rayville, Louisiana, passed away on April 2, 2026, in Chouteau, Oklahoma. She lived a life marked by a quiet passion for the outdoors and a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures that brought her joy.

Allene was a devoted lover of nature who found happiness in fishing and spending time outdoors. Her interests extended to enjoying classic western films and immersing herself in the imaginative worlds crafted by Stephen King in his novels. She had a special fondness for her pets, particularly dogs and cats, reflecting her caring and gentle spirit. Allene’s love of travel took her across the United States, where she delighted in sightseeing and exploring the countryside. Though she was reserved and enjoyed her solitude, she had a warm affection for her collectible figurines—favoring dragon-themed pieces—and took pride in her vinyl record collection. In her later years, despite limited mobility, she found contentment in conversations about her beloved grandchildren.

Allene is survived by her children: Leonard Charrier and his wife Kristine of Chouteau, Oklahoma; Van Charrier of Larto Lake, LA; Robert Bradley and his wife JoAnna of Norco, LA; and Jody Bradley of Sulphur, LA. She also leaves behind her brother James Bruton, her sister Martha of Pryor, Oklahoma, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were a source of great joy to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred Adams and Clara McKnight, her husband Steve Sebela, and her sisters.

No services for Allene are planned at this time. To leave a message, please visit her guestbook at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service of Pryor.
