Armilda Jean Rogers, a beloved wife, mother, and loving homemaker, passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 92. Born on February 21, 1932, in Eufaula, Oklahoma, to Hugh and Thelma Erwin, Armilda's life was a testament to love, faith, and kindness. Armilda's journey was filled with love and adventure. She met the love of her life, Jackie Rogers, in 1949, and together they embarked on a beautiful 66-year marriage until his passing in 2016. Their love story took them to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where they followed the pipeline for 8 years before settling down in Pryor. Together, they were blessed with three children: Jackie, Kim, and Anita. A devoted wife and mother, Armilda's greatest joy was caring for her family. She poured her heart into creating a warm and loving home, where she lovingly cooked and sewed for her girls. Her faith was the guiding light of her life, as she actively participated in church activities, taught Sunday school, and served as a house mother at Church camp. Armilda's dedication to studying the bible and spreading love and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. In her younger years, Armilda found solace in simple pleasures, such as fishing with her brothers and sisters, and delighting them with cooking from the day's catch. Her zest for life and genuine love for the people around her created a lasting impact that will be fondly remembered by all. Armilda Jean Rogers leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion.

Armilda is survived by her son, Jackie Rogers and wife Julie of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughters, Kim Jensen and husband Mike of Salina, Oklahoma and Anita Jackson and husband Ron of Pryor, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Thelma Erwin; husband, Jackie Rogers; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
