Audrey Gladys Holland

Audrey Gladys Holland, 93, of Inola, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022 in Chouteau, Oklahoma. She was born on December 11, 1928 in Vinita, Oklahoma; the daughter of James G. and Mable E. (Wise) Simpson. She married Leroy “Bob” Holland on October 23, 1948 and celebrated 57 years of marriage until his passing in 2005. Audrey worked in the nursing industry for Dr. Shipman and the Grand Valley Hospital for many years. She was known for her love of baking, especially for her pies, enjoyed reading and spending time with those she loved.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 in the New Home Cemetery in Peggs. Come and Go Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor. Audrey is survived by her sons, Eddie Holland and wife Evelyn of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Bobby Holland of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; daughter, Charlotte Stutzman and husband Joe of Inola, Oklahoma; brother, Jerry Simpson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; sister, Aletta Tunnell of Halfway, Oregon; 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mable Simpson; husband, Leroy “Bob” Holland; brother, Joe Simpson; sisters, Lenora Garner, Marie Gann, and Rowena Yates; and grandson, Jeremy Holland.
