Barbara Nelson

Barbara Ann Nelson, 67, of Pryor, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on February 9, 1951 in Claremore, Oklahoma; the daughter of Lloyd and Wanda Geraldine (Boswell) Worth. She was a lifetime resident of Pryor and worked as a homemaker most of her life. She married Carl Nelson on February 13, 1997. Barbara enjoyed working in her flower garden and drawing with pencils. She was a talented artist and enjoyed her art. Above all, Barbara loved being a wife and mother, and did everything she could to make sure they were taken care of. She was a loving, caring, and thoughtful woman who will be so very missed.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Carl Nelson of the home; son, Owen Nelson of Pryor, Oklahoma; daughters, Cheryl Charrier of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Carrie Marsh and husband James of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Tara Hughes of Pryor, Oklahoma; brothers, Tony Worth of Pryor, Oklahoma and Gary Worth of Kansas, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Wanda Geraldine Worth, sister, Brenda Molloy, and a great grandchild.
