Betty Lou Cunningham, 78, of Chouteau, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in Pryor. She was born on November 14, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas; the daughter of Walter Varen and Joyce Marie (Petty) Trogdon. Betty married Albert Cunningham on November 5, 1963 and they have celebrated 59 years of marriage. Betty enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to bake, sew, fish, and always looked forward to playing board games with them. She also loved to go bowling, skating and camping. Betty always enjoyed having all 30 family members together to celebrate any and all occasions. She was a fun loving, thoughtful, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and leaves behind many memories for her family to cherish.

Betty is survived by her husband, Albert Cunningham of the home; daughters, Sherry Suggs and husband Jeff of Chouteau, Oklahoma and Sheryl Schencks and husband George of Pryor, Oklahoma; sister, Nancy Floyd of Adair, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, David Suggs and wife Rachelle, Lindsey Corbett and husband Matthew, Anthony Schencks and wife Eva, Josh Schencks and wife Kassie, Daniel Suggs and wife Misti, Brian Schencks and wife Keena, and Talyiah Schencks; 10 great grandchildren, Hailey Schencks, Curtis Schencks, Ayden Corbett, Melody Suggs, Emmalyne Corbett, Raustin Suggs, Delaney Corbett, Sawyer Schencks, Grant Suggs, and Sage Schencks; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Joyce Trogdon, sister, Linda Yirsa; brother, Walter Trogdon, grandson, Jason Suggs, and nephew James Floyd.
