Betty Ann Walden

Betty Walden, 87, of Chelsea, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022, at her home. She
was born on January 18, 1935 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Louis Usher and Gladys (Bridwell)
Usher. Betty married Carl Walden on May 28, 1952 in Houston, Texas and made a wonderful life
together. She loved people and never met a stranger. Betty enjoyed traveling. She also enjoyed sewing,
crocheting and doing other craft projects. Betty was faithful to take her kids to church. She loved her
Lord and looked forward to Heaven, seeing her Lord and many loved ones there. She loved her children
and grandchildren and all the time spent with each of them. Betty leaves each special memories and a
sure path for each to follow where she is so that they will all spend eternity in Heaven together.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Lone Chapel Church with
Reverend Ricky Walden officiating. Interment will follow in the Lone Chapel Cemetery with Caleb
Walden, Zhawn Ragge, Michael Noland, Jeremy Noland, Travis Noland and Mark Walden serving as
casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers include Carl Neal Walden, Leei Walden, and Jordan Walden.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday evening. To leave a

Betty is survived by her sons, Robert Walden and wife, Diane of Broken Arrow, OK, and Carl Walden Jr.
and wife, Carol of Chelsea, OK; daughters, Cindy Rainwater and husband, Anthony of Pryor, OK and
Wanda Mooney of Chelsea, OK; brothers, Jimmy Usher and wife, Delilah of Springhill, TN and Leslie
Wayne Usher and wife, Brenda of Trinity, TX; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 8 great great
grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and
Gladys Usher; her husband, Carl Walden; sisters, Mary Francis Moody and Jeanie David; granddaughter,
Shawna Rainwater-Beck.
