Beverly June McCarty

Beverly June McCarty passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on December 2, 1972, in Polk County, Missouri, to Samual and Flora (Busenberry) Thompson.

Beverly married Jason “Jay” McCarty, and they shared 17 years of marriage together. The two were rarely apart and truly enjoyed simply being together. Whether spending time at home, going out to eat, or enjoying one of Jay’s home-cooked meals around the table, Beverly treasured the life they shared.

Family meant more to Beverly than anything. She especially loved being surrounded by her grandchildren and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them. Beverly had a caring and generous heart and was known for her kindness toward everyone she met. She always seemed to have a smile on her face and was often described as being “good as gold.” Her warm spirit and loving nature brought light to those around her.

Beverly enjoyed spending time outdoors and going to the lake. She also liked visiting the casino, dining out, and trying different restaurants. Some of her favorite moments, however, were the simple ones spent at home with Jay and their family. She also loved her dogs, Smokey and Bandit, who held a special place in her heart.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Samual and Flora Thompson; and her son, Shelby Sitsler.

She is survived by her husband, Jay McCarty of the home; her children, Sasha Sitsler, Cody Sitsler, Jeremiah Sitsler, and Jake McCarty; her sisters, Sally, Tammy, and Ira; her brother, Doc; 10 grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Beverly will be remembered for her beautiful smile, generous heart, and the love she freely gave to her family and everyone around her.
