Bobby Lee Pilant

Bobby Lee Pilant, 78, of Broken Arrow, passed peacefully at home on Friday, June 17, 2022. He was born on April 27, 1944 in Big Cabin, Oklahoma; the son of Elmer Ruben and Polly Elizabeth (Howell) Pilant. He married Marilyn Sue Echols on June 3, 1967 and have spent 55 years of marriage together. He faithfully served his country in the Army National Guard. He was a man of God and was active throughout his life in church and ran a bus ministry for 25 years. He currently attended Life Church South Campus in Broken Arrow and served as a door greeter. He loved visiting with all those who would walk through the door. Bobby looked forward to loudly listening to southern gospel music, refinishing antique furniture, fishing, reading his Bible, and gardening. He enjoyed spending time with those he loved most and leaves behind many memories for his family to remember.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Sue Pilant of the home; sons, Robert Pilant and wife Rachel of East Troy, Wisconsin and Aaron Pilant and wife Erin of Bradenton, Florida; daughter, Billie Heeley and husband Jeff of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers, Leon Pilant and wife Sharon of Salina, Oklahoma, Richard Pilant and wife Cathy of Eufaula, New Mexico, and Jerold Pilant and wife Linda of Pryor, Oklahoma; sisters, Velma Echols of Aurora, Colorado, and Wanda Milligan of Pryor, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Polly Pilant; brothers, Harold and Billy Pilant; and sisters, Lavaughn Driscoll, Ruby Haley, and Velda Dennis.
