Bonnie Jean Johnson was born to Allen & Helen Griffin in East St. Louis, Illinois, on April 5th, 1932. Bonnie was married to Carl Johnson for 69 years. She is survived by Son Tommie and his wife, Margie; Son Roy and his wife Pam; Son Myke; Grandchildren Tonya, Carly, Jeremy and Mark & John Zuniga; Great Grandchildren, Echo, Ryder, Lainey, Savanna, Heidi and Mark Jr. Bonnie is preceded in death by Parents, sister Zelda, brother Fred, Niece Vicki Griffin, Granddaughter Holly, Grandson Michael Zuniga, and much missed and beloved husband, Carl; and numerous nieces and nephews, present & past.

When the grandchildren were grown, Bonnie told Holly that what the house needed was some babies. She was soon blessed by 5 great grandkids. At a family gathering with all present, Holly asked Bonnie, “Do we have enough babies yet?” Bonnie replied, “I believe we do”. Bonnie worked for the Tulsa Public Schools for 24 years in the Food Service, doing what she loved best—cooking and being around children. She was Cub Scout den mother in Pack 21, Den 6 for four years. Her favorite things were spending time with the family, traveling with Carl, Country music shows, and visiting historical sites that she had read about.  Bonnie was a “mom” to anyone that came or stayed at her house, and many passed through in her lifetime.

She will be remembered and always loved as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She is already deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, Bonnie has requested donations be made to either the Disabled Veterans or the Special Olympics.
