Brent "Poke" Jumper

Brent “Poke” Shawn Jumper, 30, of Pryor, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on September 13, 1991 in Grove, Oklahoma; the son of Roosevelt and Sheila (Hogshooter) Jumper. He enjoyed listening to music, drawing, and playing games on his play station. He also loved to go fishing anytime he had the chance. Most of all, he loved his family and friends, and sitting outside in the front yard visiting with his brothers. He leaves this world much too soon and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services for Brent will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dee Bendabout officiating. Burial will be in the Euwasha Cemetery with Cherokee Sharp, Terry Sharp, Billy Smoke, Joe Russell, Roosevelt Mora, and Josh Jumper serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Johnny Jumper, Leonard Jumper, and Roger Jumper. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 6, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. He is survived by his parents, Roosevelt and Sheila Jumper; his brothers, William Buzzard, Dustin Jumper, Brandon Buzzard all of Pryor, and Jesse Buzzard of Langley; his sisters, Amanda Hogshooter of Tulsa, Janatha Anderson of Afton, Michelle Hogshooter of Oklahoma City, and Lisha Davidson and husband Eric of Spavinaw; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Roosevelt Jumper Sr.; and his maternal grandparents, Robert N. Hogshooter and Jesse Lee Coker.
