Brian Jay Quantie, passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 39 in Rose, Oklahoma. He was born on November 1, 1983, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Brian's passion for operating heavy equipment began at an early age and became the cornerstone of his career. Brian's life was marked by his unwavering commitment to his craft. As a heavy equipment operator throughout his entire life, he displayed remarkable skill and expertise in handling machinery with finesse and precision. Brian will also be remembered for his service in the United States Navy. Outside of work, Brian nurtured a multitude of interests that added color to his vibrant personality. In 2003, he graduated from Wilburton High School. In tune with nature and the outdoors, he cherished deer hunting and pig hunting excursions that allowed him to connect with the natural world around him and also looked forward to fishing for spoonbills. Additionally, Brian found joy in arrowhead hunting alongside his father and brother Jonathan. He also loved to go mushroom hunting and treasured moments spent with his children. A celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, in the Shipman's Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor with Dave Laughlin officiating. Brian is survived by his wife, Patricia Quantie of Rose, Oklahoma; father, Lewis Quantie and wife DeeAnn of Salina, Oklahoma; mother, Connie Murry and husband Gil of Emmet, Arkansas; sons, Anthony Ellis, Jonathan Quantie, and Aaron Quantie all of Rose, Oklahoma; daughter, Madison Quantie - Harber and husband Andy of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; brother, Troy McClure and wife Ashley of Claremore, Oklahoma; step brother, Bradley Grimm and wife Hannah of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and step sisters, Kelsie Grimm - Lee and husband Michael of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Kaylee Grimm - Carder and Cameron Carder of Salina, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his cherished brother, Jonathan Quantie; and grandparents, Daryl and Joan McClure, Sharon and TW Lunsford, as well as Alice Cody and Horce Carmen.
