Bruce Patrick Elliott, born on March 17, 1956, in Dewey, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was a cherished member of his community, remembered for his diverse talents and passions.
Bruce was a pitmaster and master chef, known for his culinary skills that garnered him an invitation to compete at the prestigious Jack Daniels Royal. His expertise extended beyond the kitchen; he was one of the few individuals recognized for building a two-stage rocket and had a penchant for creating impressive firecrackers. These varied interests highlighted Bruce’s innovative spirit and his dedication to mastering his crafts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patty Elliott, of the home; his son, Chris Elliott, and wife Kara of Tulsa, OK; and his daughter, Kim McSparrin, and husband Terry of Owasso, OK. Bruce is also survived by his brothers, David Elliott and wife Susan of Wintergarden, FL, and Kevin Elliott and wife Michelle of Panama City, FL; his sister, Connie May, and husband Mike of Dewey, OK; as well as his beloved grandchildren, Cason and Cash McSparrin.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Joan Elliott, and his sister, Kelly Hayes, and her husband Dave. His legacy of creativity and passion will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
