Choyah Lavon Calico II, passed away on April 11, 2024 in Locust Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 43. Born on July 7, 1980 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma he brought a spark of infectious energy and an unparalleled ability to live fully in every single moment of life. Choyah was a force to be reckoned with, a free spirit untethered by life and its rules. His personality was magnetic, drawing others in with his sheer presence and gift for gab. Choyah's essence was one that left a lasting impact wherever he went - a man who lived life his way, unapologetically and authentically. In the wake of his departure, Choyah leaves behind a legacy of being special, cherished, and deeply loved by all who had the privilege of crossing paths with him. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Choyah's spirit will forever be remembered as a beacon of light and positivity.

Choyah is survived by his daughters, Ava Grace and Lily Reese Calico both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sister, Nivea Calico - Kiegel and husband Gene of Tenafly, New Jersey; mother, Manuela Calico of Canon City, Colorado; nieces, Milana Magenta and Sienna Augustine Kiegel both of Tenafly, New Jersey; and many other relatives and friends.
