Christopher Beem

Christopher Beem, 41, of Salina, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022, in Salina. He was born on October 24, 1980, in Claremore, Oklahoma to Tina (Beem) Copeland. He dedicated his time working as a CNA at Meadowbrook and was well known for his big heart and caring for others. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially when it came to fishing and swimming. He enjoyed going to yard sales and tinkering with and fixing things. He leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service for Christopher will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 17, 2022, in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Rapian officiating. He is survived by his boyfriend, Kendrick Hunt of the home; son, Morgan Witzel of Pittsburg, Kansas; mother, Tina Copeland of Pryor; step stepfather, Paul Nickles of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Ricky Copeland and wife Megan of Tulsa, Steven and Paula of Prattville, Daniel of Sand Springs, and Justin of Tulsa. He is preceded in death by his two grandmothers, Judith Copeland and Willie Joe Beem. 

There will be a meal following the service held in the Salina Community Building.
