Connie Lou Haley, 72, of Salina, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in Salina. She was born on July 9, 1949, in Pryor; the daughter of Opie and Lorraine (Emme) Crawford. She married Charlie Haley on June 21, 1968, and they spent 53 wonderful years together. She obtained her bachelor's degree and spent her time as an educator at Wickliffe Public Schools and then spent the next 27 years as an elementary teacher at Adair. After retiring from Adair Public Schools, she went back to work as a teacher at Salina Public Schools for 6 years. She enjoyed fishing, bowling, and bingo at the VFW and American Legion. She also enjoyed going to church and was currently attending Blue Springs. Most of all, Connie loved her family and the time she was able to spend with them. She could often be spotted at her grandkids sporting events, always there to cheer them on. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
