Curtis Granville Floyd

Curtis Granville Floyd, 41, of Adair, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023 in Pryor. He was born on August 26, 1981 in Pryor; the son of Andrew Jackson Floyd III and Glenda Fay (Martin) Floyd. He graduated from Salina High School in the Class of 2000. He worked as a laborer most of his life and owned and operated Floyd Drywall for over 8 years. He loved to spend time outdoors, especially when he was able to go hunting, fishing, playing catch or riding bikes with his boys. He loved Saturday mornings being lazy eating cereal on the couch with his daughter when she was younger. He loved joking around and hanging out with his buddies. He leaves his family and friends much too soon and will be remembered by all the memories he leaves behind.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2023 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel in Pryor with Reverend Lorne Beck officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2023 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Curtis Floyd Memorial Fund at RCB Bank for his 4 children he left behind. Curtis is survived by his sons, Brock Floyd, Brier Floyd, Bo Floyd and daughter, Brooklyn Floyd all of Adair, Oklahoma; parents, Andrew and Glenda Floyd, brother, Andrew Floyd IV all of the home in Adair, Oklahoma; sister, Jodie Floyd of Adair, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister, Jamie Floyd; paternal grandfather, AJ Floyd; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Aleene Martin; and uncles, GC Martin, Tony Dicks, and Erin White.
