Daisy Jones

Daisy C. Jones, 89, of Pryor, departed from this life on Sunday, May 9, 2021 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on February 25, 1932 in Welch Prairie, Oklahoma; the daughter of Columbus Conley and Ideel (Gammel) Conley. Daisey was raised on a farm east of Salina and attended school at Shady Grove Schools and in Little Kansas. She had 3 children; Louise, Jeannie and Ray. Daisy enjoyed sewing, country music, and bird watching. She was a loving mother and grandmother who leaves behind many wonderful memories for her family to cherish.

Services for Daisy will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Trae Mullin officiating. Burial will follow at Welch Family Cemetery. Daisy is survived by her son, Ray Shivers of Pryor; sister, Dorothy Williams of Locust Grove; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Jones; daughters, Louise and Jeannie; and brothers, Doyal, Jesse, and James.
