David Homer Richards

David Homer Richards, born on March 23, 1955, in Pryor, Oklahoma, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Adair, Oklahoma. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

David was passionate about many things in life. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and had a deep appreciation for old motors, which made him a dedicated gearhead. His love for vehicles extended to building old cars, and he was known for his skills in painting and auto body work. Additionally, David had a fondness for animals and spent many hours enjoying old tractor programs.

David is survived by his wife, Rhonda Richards, of the home; son, Joseph Richards, of Adair, OK; daughter, Brandy Addington and husband David, of Pryor, OK; sister, Elaine Davis, of OKC, OK; grandchildren Mikalah, DJ, and Falynn, each of Pryor; Carson; Hayden and wife Katelin of Locust Grove, OK; and Hadlee Shoemaker and husband Johnny of Inola, OK; as well as 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Betty (Pippin) Richards; daughter, Melissa Richards; and mother-in-law, Lucille Brock. David's legacy will be cherished by his family and friends, who will remember him for his joyful spirit and passions.
