David Eugene Vulgamore, 67, of Rose, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 10, 1949 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the son of Eldon Vulgamore and Mary (Sisseck) Vulgmore. David faithfully served his Country in the United States Navy. He served from 1967 to 1992, with service in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969. David married Debbie Holmes on December 22, 1976 in Miami, Oklahoma. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. David also enjoyed working in his vegetable garden. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Locust Grove. David loved his Lord and his church family. A wonderful husband, father and grandfather, David leaves a legacy of love of God, Country and Family for each to cherish and remember. Services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Locust Grove, Oklahoma with Reverend Mark Hester officiating. He is survived by his wife, Debbie of the home; his son, Brian Vulgamore of Rose, OK; brothers, Richard and wife, Alicia Vulgamore of Wynona, OK and Paul and wife, Myra Vulgamore of Tulsa, OK; two grandchildren, Sean Vulgamore of Peggs, OK and Calvin Vulgamore of Nacogdoches, TX; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Mary Vulgamore.
