DeAndra Butcher Hoag left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2025. Born Delores Helen Belle Reinke on April 20, 1934, in Tawas, Michigan to William and Helen Reinke. She married William Orley Butcher on June 6, 1953. Together they raised eight children and moved to Oklahoma from Michigan in 1973. She never pursued a career, instead devoted her life to her husband, children, and home. Her faith in God was central to who she was, and we are confident of her eternal life.
She was a woman of many talents including home design, land management, painting, decorating, sewing, and cooking. She also enjoyed gardening and canning her very own goods from the garden. She raised and bred English Shepherd dogs, becoming quite famous for her line of dogs. She taught Sunday School and even home schooled her last three sons. She lost her husband Bill in 2009 and found a new love in William Dale Hoag, and they married on September 14, 2013.
She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her savior, Jesus Christ, and the love for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Helen Reinke, her brothers; Bill Reinke and Howard Reinke, Husband William Butcher, Daughter Liane Robertson, and Great-Granddaughter Chassidy Butcher.
She leaves behind her beloved Husband William Dale Hoag of the home. Her six sons; Greg Butcher and wife Jan, Mike Butcher and wife Connie, Matt Butcher and wife Rochelle, Will Butcher and wife Holly, Josh Butcher and wife Mindy, and Ben Butcher and wife Anissa. DeAndra is also survived by her daughter Sharlyn and husband Bill Dalby. She leaves behind a total of twenty-six Grandchildren, and many Great and even Great-Great-Grandchildren, who she adored.
A memorial service will be held by her family on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Lakeview Baptist Church in Salina located at 306 Owen Walters Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church.
