Jeanie was born on July 31, 1951, in Afton, Oklahoma to Howard and LuWanda (Wanda) Young. She left this earth in the loving arms of our Savior Jesus Christ on the afternoon of September 26, 2023. She was at her home surrounded by family and friends who love her deeply. Jeanie is preceded in death by her best friend and husband Dalton Jones, loving sister Darlene Steele and her parents Howard and Wanda Young, Brother-in-law Gary Jones, Sister in laws Connie Due andDonna Phillips.

She is survived by her sons James Carroll and Jason Jones, daughters Jennifer Carroll and Tamara Enlow, Uncle Buford Porter, Sister Dwena (Eddie) Bowman, Brother Ronnie (Dee) Young, Brother-in-Law Larry (Wendy) Jones, William (Linda) Jones, Eric Jones, Pearl Jones, and grandchildren. She has many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many, many other family members and friends who all love and miss her deeply.

Jeanie was best known for her vivacious smile, contagious laugh and giving spirit. Over her years of hard and dedicated work Jeanie owned a café and part owner in Crazy Ladies which were both located in Spavinaw. Her and Dalton lived in Spavinaw and loved the community from 1985 – 2021 when she moved after the passing of Dalton. Jeanie worked at Wal-Mart for 13 ½ years where she has made lifelong friends and memories. She had a creative side in which supported her in her jewelry, gnomes, floral and other crafts. She wanted everyone to know she felt the love and support from each of you and truly appreciates making her feel so supported and loved.

A graveside service will be held for Jeanie at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2023, at the Spavinaw Strang Cemetery with Reverend Chris Bacon officiating. Jeanie is missed and loved by many. The love, laughter, and impact she had on so many lives will live on forever.
