Dennis "Chub" Bendabout

Dennis “Chub” Wayne Bendabout, 50, of Salina, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Chub was born on April 2, 1971 in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the son of Dennis Wayne Bendabout Sr. and Leona (Stealer) Bendabout. On April 13, 1992, at the age of 21, Chub married Mary O’Field in Pryor, Oklahoma. He worked as a Fitter and Welder at World Wide Steel. Chub loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed time with his family and leaves behind many wonderful memories that will be cherished. A loving husband, father, and papa, he was a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services for Chub will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., at the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4, 2021 in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Chub is survived by his wife, Mary Bendabout of Kenwood, Oklahoma; his sons, Drake Bendabout and wife Katie of Tishomingo, Oklahoma and Dennis Wayne Bendabout III of Kenwood, Oklahoma; his daughter Francaisca Granado and husband Jacob of Pryor, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Sophia, Gabriel, and Felix; his mother, Leona Bendabout of Pryor, Oklahoma; his sister, Traci Kingfisher and husband Choogie of Moody, Oklahoma; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Wayne Bendabout Sr.; and his sister, Shannon Mace.
