Devon Ty Brumfield-Lindsey, 26, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on March 2, 2000, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Devon was a young man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and had a variety of interests that brought him happiness. He had a love for music, especially rap, and enjoyed listening to his favorite songs whenever he had the chance. Music was something he truly enjoyed and was a part of his everyday life.

Devon also enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially swimming and playing basketball. Whether he was shooting hoops or enjoying a day in the water, these were activities that brought him joy. He also had a creative side and enjoyed pencil drawing, using his artistic abilities to express himself through his artwork.

Above all, Devon will be remembered by those who knew and loved him. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to be a part of his life.

Devon is survived by his mother, Toshia Alloway and her wife, Christine Alloway, of Cleveland, Tennessee; his stepfather, Chris Lindsey of Prosper, Texas; his sister, Jade Dahl of Jenks, Oklahoma; his maternal grandfather, Tim Easky of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; and his step-grandparents, Chuck and Donna Hudson of Prosper, Texas; along with many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Terry Sanders; and his paternal grandmother, Eula King.

Funeral services for Devon will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 12, 2026, in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ross-Mayes Cemetery in Salina, Oklahoma with Tim Easky, Trevor Easky, Chuck Hudson, Chris Lindsey, Roger Easky, and Charles Hudson Jr. serving as casket bearers. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 11, 2026, at Shipman’s Funeral Home in Pryor.
