Dexter Ray Cameron, 70, passed away on May 9, 2025 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was born on April 11, 1954, in San Diego, California. Dexter grew up in the Salina, Oklahoma area and graduated from Salina High School, where he was an active member of the FFA. He proudly served his country in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army. After his service, Dexter spent most of his life working in construction. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time taking peaceful walks and appreciating nature. Dexter will be remembered for his quiet strength, love of nature, and service to his country.
Dexter is survived by his brothers, John Hall and Calvert Hall, both of Salina, OK, and Dan Hall of Arizona; his sister, Margarett Hall of Salina, OK; and his grandson, Conor Ray Cameron. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Raymond Cameron and Pearl Juanita (Fordham) Cameron; his son, Dexter Ray Cameron, Jr.; his sisters, Esther Haynes, Joyce Hall, and Louise McAlister; his brother, Jesse Hall; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hall and Cynthia Hall.
