Donyece Mae Smith

Donyece Mae Smith passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on May 18, 1945, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Flavel and Theresa (Hall) Baker. Throughout her life, Donyece was known for her kind heart, joyful spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh, joke with family and friends, and bring smiles to those around her.

Donyece found happiness in life's simple pleasures. She loved red roses, cherished her dogs and cats, and enjoyed collecting ceramic clowns and pigs, each reflecting her unique personality and interests.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Flavel and Theresa Baker. Donyece is lovingly survived by her husband of over 35 years Rick Smith; her sons, Craig Martin and wife, Charlotte, of The Colony, Texas, and Billy Smith and wife, Tiffany, of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; her sister, Regina Inderlied and husband, Maynard, of Buffalo, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Lisa Shane, Sarah Martin, Chloe Smith, Lillye Smith, and Brodie Smith; As well as her nieces, Danell and her daughter Shelby Nichols.

Donyece will be remembered for her laughter, her love for her family, and the joy she brought into the lives of those who knew her. Her memory will be cherished by all who were blessed to share in her life.
