Doris Hammett

 Doris Hammett, 88, of Sarasota, Florida, formerly of Bradenton, Florida, passed from this life on Sunday, February 26, 2023, in Sarasota. She was born on August 29, 1934, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Henry and Vergie Nichols. Well known for being hardworking, she dedicated over 20 years caring for others as a CNA. She was passionate about her career and enjoyed caring for others. She leaves an impression on the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by Angela Williams and husband Brian, of Owasso, OK, and Mark Hughes and wife Rashynda of Locust Grove, OK. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Vergie Nichols; and her son, Dwain Hughes.
