Dorothea Jansen

Dorothea Evelina Jansen, 83, of Pryor, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, February 26, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on December 22, 1938 in Bridgeport, Connecticut; the daughter of Eric and Ebba (Adolfson) Stahlhammer. Dorothea had many different jobs throughout her life, no job too big or small. She was a wide load escort, car racer, waitress, and secretary. Dorothea also had a green thumb and loved tending to her garden. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Dorothea is survived by her daughter, Donna Collier and husband Norman of Pryor; brothers, Peter Stahlhammer and wife Susan of Colorado and Carl Stahlhammer and wife Terry of Connecticut; grandchildren, Nakita Collier of Pryor and Adam Smith and wife Ashley of Pryor; 1 great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bruce; and daughter, Karen Taber.
