Dovie “Clarissa” Bristow, 78, of Pryor, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was born on May 20, 1947, in Ada, Oklahoma, to Wilmer and Elsie (Brinlee) Burnshire. Clarissa was raised in Pryor and graduated from Pryor High School in 1965. She carried her strong will and vibrant spirit with her throughout her life.

Clarissa worked at various places over the years, including bartending, where her outgoing personality made her well known and well loved. She especially enjoyed her time at the American Legion in Pryor, where she treasured visiting with friends and meeting new people. A very social soul, Clarissa never met a stranger and could light up a room with her presence. She had a passion for baking and was particularly talented at decorating cakes for family and friends. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles and embracing life with enthusiasm. Known for being ornery, feisty, and a little spicy, Clarissa’s bold personality and loving heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Elsie Lee Burnshire; her brothers, Michael and Ricky Burnshire; and her first husband, Leonard Bristow, the father of her daughter.

Clarissa is survived by her daughter, Christie Littlefield and husband Monty; her granddaughter, Reagan Eardman and husband Mack; her great-granddaughters, Audra and Ryleigh Eardman; her nieces and nephews, Mike Burnshire and wife Lori, Josh Burnshire, and Jenna Noland and husband Travis; as well as many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
