Everett "Slim" Dodson

Everett "Slim" Dodson, 86, of Pryor, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 in Tulsa. He was born on December 19, 1932 in Boatman; the son of Everett Dodson, Sr. and Hazel Walton. He worked most of his life in the ranching industry and enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved to go fishing and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He looked forward to going to family gatherings. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2019 in the Bryan Chapel Cemetery in Boatman with Pastor Gary Blackford officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. Everett is survived by his wife, Judy Dodson of the home; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Johnny Dodson and Jack Dodson.
