Fannie Kingfisher

Fannie J. Kingfisher, 66, of Salina, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 24, 2009 in St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Fannie was born on April 29, 1943 near Salina, Oklahoma in the Chimney Rock Hollow area the daughter of Bridge Chuckluck Sr. and Daisy (Cochran) Buckskin. She married Joe Kingfisher on August 7, 1974 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Fannie was a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking for everyone as much as they enjoyed her cooking. She was very athletic, playing softball when younger. She enjoyed spending time watching her grandchildren play sports and always attended their games. Fannie was an accomplished seamstress, making beautiful quilts for her family. She and Joe enjoyed playing Face 10 cards together. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family. Fannie was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister who will be so very missed by all who loved them. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the Blue Springs Church with Reverends Lorne Beck and Richard Pickup officiating. Interment will be in the Grass Cemetery with Chris Pickup, Onie Pickup, champ Pickup, Bradley Montoya, Stanley Ross and Tat Ross serving as casketbearers. Honorary Casketbearers are Buddy Ross, Eddie Pickup, Scott Pickup, Bubba Torres II, cody Torres, Virgil Kingfisher and Christopher Pickup. A Wake service will be held in the Shipmané��â‚â„�s Funeral Chapel from 6-8 p.m. on Monday evening. Fannie is survived by her husband, Joe of the home; her daughters, Tina Montoya and husband, Chris of Pryor, OK , Susan Kingfisher of Salina, Oklahoma and special daughter, Brenda Pickup; her brothers, Richard Duke Pickup and wife, Charlene of Salina, OK, Joe Buckskin and wife, Betty of Tulsa, OK, George Chuckluck Sr. and wife, Sue of Peggs, OK, Bridge Chuckluck Jr. and wife, Linda of Salina, OK and Raymond Chuckluck of Tulsa, OK; her sisters, Helen Blair of Haskell, OK and Sally Chuckluck of Oaks, OK; her grandchildren, Crystal, Bradley, Tishena and Marci Montoya, Christopher and Melody Pickup; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bridge Chuckluck Sr. and Daisy Buckskin; her children, Sonja Kingfisher, Duane Pickup and an infant girl; her brothers, Charlie Bailey and Mixwater Buckskin; her sister, Ruth Ross.
