Fannie Elizabeth (Yoder) Miller, 82, of Chouteau, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at her home. She was born on May 6, 1940 in Mazie, Oklahoma; the daughter of John Henry and Mary (Chupp) Yoder. Fannie married Norman C. Miller on November 5, 1959 in Mazie and together have spent 63 years of marriage. She spent her life working in the home and tending to the needs of her husband and family. She looked forward to cooking for her family and community, providing wonderful homecooked meals for them to enjoy. Fannie enjoyed writing letters to her friends and family and staying in contact with those she loved most. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, and their smiles brightened each of her days. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and leaves behind many wonderful memories for family to cherish.

Funeral services for Fannie will be held at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at the Norman C. Miller Residence at 5884 W. 620 Road Chouteau, Oklahoma 74337. Burial will follow in the West Amish Mennonite Cemetery in Inola, Oklahoma with her grandsons, Norman Troyer, Gary Miller, Wayne Miller, Kevin Knepp, Carlen Yoder, Darrel Miller, Brandon Miller, and Javin Ropp serving as casket bearers. Visitation times will be held from 6:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2022 and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2022, also at Norman C. Miller Residence. Miller of the home; children, Lorene and Glendon Ropp of Hutchinson, KS, Robert and Vera Miller of Chouteau, Ok, Polly and Rudy Schwartz of Chouteau, Ok, Mary and Floyd Troyer of Chouteau, Ok, Earl and Lisa Miller of Chouteau, Ok, Erma and Dean Knepp of South Hutchinson, KS, Jay and Velda Miller of Fairland, Ok, Barbara and Steve Yoder of Chouteau, Ok, and Marvin and Dinah Miller of Chouteau, Ok; 39 grandchildren; 82 great grandchildren; brother, Lloyd and Esther of Chatham, VA; sister, Edna Miller of Chouteau, Ok; step mother in law, Fannie Miller of Chouteau, Ok; sisters in law, Katie Troyer of Claremore, Ok, Susan and Robert of Inola, Ok, Polly Kuhns of Dunnegan, MO, Ina Detweiler of Inola, Ok, Clara Raber of Shipshewana, IN; Mary Edna and Alvin Graber of Kalona, IA, and Wilma and Glen Yoder of Chouteau, Ok; brothers in law, Clarence and Edna Miller of Chouteau, Ok; and John Bontrager of Chouteau, Ok; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Mary (Chupp) Yoder; father and mother-in-law, Crist and Clara (Troyer) Miller; brother, David and Vera Yoder, brother in laws, Cristie Miller, Freeman Troyer, Herman and Louvina Miller, Albert and Fannie Miller, Eli Detweiler, Ervin Raber, and Lester Kuhns; sister-in-law, Barbara Bontrager; twin granddaughters, and great granddaughter, Kari Eash.
