Franklin James Edward Shaull

Franklin James Edward Shaull, known for his loving and friendly nature, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 25. He was born on July 19, 1999, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to James Alan and Angela (Kirk) Shaull. Franklin's warm personality endeared him to everyone he met - he was always ready with a hug or a handshake and never failed to make a new friend.

His hobbies and interests reflected his kind spirit. Franklin cherished the time spent fishing with his dad, eagerly trying to out fish him on each outing. He never cared where or what the weather was like. He found joy in sewing and quilting with his mom, nurturing plants in the garden with his father and sharing the harvest with their church family. He was a faithful member of Pleasant View Baptist Church, reveling in the music and singing praises alongside his fellow worshippers. He loved Travis Meyer and reporting the weather to his parents daily. 

Franklin's kind heart and infectious smile touched the lives of many. He was the light of his mom and dad's world and their pride and joy.

Franklin is survived by his devoted parents, James and Angela Shaull; aunts, Phyllis McLemore of Tulsa, OK, Sandra McKinzie and husband George of Pryor, OK, Lisa Cunningham of Tahlequah, OK, and Karen Powers of Leach, OK; numerous cousins; as well as many other relatives, friends, and a loving church family.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Don and Mildred Shaull and Louisa and Ed Kirk.

Funeral services for Franklin will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church with Pastors Andy Pilant and Jerold Pilant officiating. Interment will follow in the Graham Memorial Cemetery in Pryor with George McKinizie, Jim Greene, Todd Ray, Kyle McKinzie, Kyle Cremers, and Ryan Barnett serving as casket bearers. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Shipman's Funeral Home in Pryor.
