George Eldon McCullah

George Eldon McCullah, 78, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He was born in Miami, Oklahoma on October 10, 1947, to Walter and Betty (Robison) McCullah. 

At a young age George became an avid horse lover and taught himself to be an accomplished horse whisperer. 

George graduated from Oklahoma State University with an Ag Ed degree and started on a 25-year teaching journey. He taught at Sulphur, Stratford, and Pryor. Over those years he touched hundreds of kids' lives. Many of which have stayed in contact with him through the years. Each of them has a "Mr. Mac" story to tell. 

Ranching became his "retirement" life. George had an amazing knowledge of cattle and horses. He had such a love and respect for all animals. 

He is survived by his wife, Jill McCullah of the home; daughters, Celya Glowacki and Chris of Fishers, IN, and Joni Mitchell and Cody of Pryor, OK; grandsons, Kane McCullah and Courtney, Gabe McCullah and Jace Mitchell; great-granddaughter, Brailynn and Dolphyne McCullah, Cody and Cami; and numerous other beloved family members. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Betty McCullah; brother, Vinnie; son, Vinnie; and more-than-a-foster son, Larry McMillian.
