George McLain

George Luther McLain, 66, of Adair, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at home. He was born on February 21, 1954 in Forrest City, Arkansas; the son of David Lee and Ruby Lorine (Stanley) McLain. George loved being outdoors. He loved shooting guns, camping, and fishing. One of his favorite places to go was Silver Dollar City. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

George is survived by his wife, Kristy, of the home; sons, Robert McLain of Joplin, Missouri, George McLain II of Adair, Oklahoma, CJ McLain of Adair, Oklahoma, Caleb Mikinnis of Joplin, Missouri, and step-son Danny Rowe of Catoosa, Oklahoma; daughters, Ivy McLain of Adair, Oklahoma, Ruby Degood of Carthage, Missouri, and step-daughter, Sandra Rowe of Catoosa, Oklahoma; brother, Juan Talavera of Adair, Oklahoma; sisters, Margaret Talavera of Adair, Oklahoma, Marilyn Moore of Carterville, Missouri, Mary Vangaulder of Decatur, Arkansas, and Susanna Broadston of Decatur, Arkansas; and one grandchild, Dallys McLain. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Ruby; sister, Mildred; brothers, David and Earl; and nephews, William Bruce, Tyler Moore, and Dakota Miller.
