Glenda Sue Savage

Glenda Sue Savage, 71, of Claremore, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in Tulsa. She was born in Alice, Texas on February 17, 1951; the daughter of Clifford and Glayds (Plemons) Axton. Glenda earned her LPN License from the Northeast Vo- Tech and worked in the nursing industry for many years. She enjoyed helping people and in her spare time enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and cooking. She leaves behind many memories for her family and friends to remember.

Glenda is survived by her son, Shawn Carriger and Samara Hamby of Claremore, Oklahoma; daughter, Cheri McClure of Aurora, Missouri and Brandy McWhirt and husband Isaac of Pryor, Oklahoma; brother, Clifford Axton of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sisters, Judy Allen and Jeanie LeWallen both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Nathan Carriger, Samantha Carriger, Noah Carriger, Nicholaus Stonebarger, Nolan Stonebarger, and Addelyn McWhirt; 5 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Gladys Axton.
