Harvey Thompson, Jr.

Harvey Ray “Cowboy” Thompson, 92, of Spavinaw, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at his home. He was born on February 26, 1930 in Hominy, Oklahoma; the son of Harvey Ray and Ova (Smith) Thompson and was the youngest of 16 siblings. He was a Mason and a Korean War Veteran after proudly serving in the United States Army. During his working years, he committed his time to working at Sun Oil Company. He was a dedicated father, avid fisherman, and gardener. He leaves behind many memories and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his sons, Russell and Ricky Thompson; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and his angels as he referred to them, his three dogs, Snowball, Sister, and Bosco. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Ova.
