Ike “Dude” Littledave, Jr., 79, of Colcord, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Colcord, Oklahoma. He was born on March 16, 1941 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma; the son of Ike Sr. and Florence (Smith) Littledave. Dude was a very talented gospel piano player and singer with various gospel groups. He said his mother taught him to play the piano. He was the piano player for his church when he was in good health. Dude was a very outgoing person, always willing to talk with anyone he met. When he was home, he liked to read his bible, and sit in the shade. He enjoyed watching old westerns on the TV. Dude was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Graveside services for Dude will be Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Grass Cemetery with Guy Soldier officiating. To leave his family a message, visit his Tribute Wall at www.shipmansfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, of the home; sons, Luther Littledave of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Joey Littledave and wife Sherry of Jay, Oklahoma, and Leonard Littledave of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Caitlin Littledave of Colcord, Oklahoma; brothers, Norman “Hominy” Littledave of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Sylvester “Solly” Littledave and wife Joan of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Michael “Porky” Littledave and wife Renee of Salina, Oklahoma; sisters, Dolly Raper of Salina, Oklahoma, and Dora “Babe” Jennings of Salina, Oklahoma; sister in laws, Alice Littledave of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and Barb Littledave of Salina, Oklahoma; and 9 grandchildren. Dude was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Florence; brothers, Moon, Stan, and Alvey; sister, Cookie, and Jefferson and Carrie Tiger.
