Ivan Leon Pace

January 29, 1942 — March 22, 2024

Ivan Leon Pace, a beloved member of the Pryor community, passed away on March 22, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Born on January 29, 1942, in Pryor, Oklahoma, Ivan's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and passion. Ivan grew up next to the baseball fields in Pryor. During High School, he embarked on a journey to become a watchmaker's apprentice. In 1968, Ivan took a leap of faith and opened Ivan's Jewelry Store, laying the foundation for what would become a valued establishment in the community. Throughout his life, Ivan remained rooted in Pryor. His unwavering commitment to his craft led him to move the store to its current location in 1972, where it still stands today as a testament to his hard work and dedication. Beyond business success, Ivan found true love with his high school sweetheart, sharing over 50 years of marriage before her passing. He later found companionship with Lillian Hoover, creating new memories filled with love and support. Ivan's passion for acting illuminated his life, especially when he brought cowboy characters to life. His performances were not only entertaining but also reflected his vibrant spirit and love for storytelling. Pryor held a special place in Ivan's heart, and he dedicated himself to promoting the community at every opportunity. In addition to his professional accomplishments and artistic pursuits, Ivan's greatest joy came from the family he built and nurtured. His memory will be cherished by his surviving family members and friends while he reunites in Heaven with his high school sweetheart. As we bid farewell to Ivan Leon Pace, we remember a man who lived life with grace, integrity, and an unwavering love for those around him. His legacy will continue through the generations he inspired and the hearts he touched along the way. May his soul rest in peace as we hold onto the memories of a remarkable individual whose light will never fade.
