James “Jimmy” Lee Budder, 69, of Salina, departed from this life on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in Salina, Oklahoma. He was born on January 23, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma; the son of George Budder and Ada (Chewie) Budder. Jimmy was a lifetime resident of Kenwood until 2005 at which he moved to the Salina Care Center. He enjoyed playing bingo with his friends at the nursing home, drawing, coloring, and his monthly Dollar General trip. He also enjoyed a nice cold pepsi and a Dairy Deal burger. Jimmy was a loving brother, uncle, and friend to many, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Jimmy will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 25, 2021, at Euwasha Baptist Church in Kenwood, Oklahoma with Reverend Richard Budder officiating. Burial will follow at Euwasha Cemetery with Don Wise, Michael Budder, Neil Studie, Randy Wadlow, Joshua King, Gabe Elam, and Amos Budder, Jr. serving as casket bearers. Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Brenda McKibben and husband Jim of Salina and Mary King of Salina; numerous nieces and nephews; and special niece and best friend, Eve Wise. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ada; brothers, Nelson, Jack, Joe, Harvey, Moses, Amos, and Simeon Budder; and sister, Darlene Budder-Roark.
