James Reinwald

James “Jim” Reinwald of Chouteau, Oklahoma, passed away June 16, 2019 at the age of 71. Jim was born April 15, 1948 in Marion, Ohio to the late Herbert and Marilyn Reinwald. Jim graduated Harding High School in 1966 then enlisted in the Army, where he received the National Defense Medal, Service Overseas Stripe Bar, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross, and Vietnam Gallantry Cross, Vietnam Service Medal with four bronze stars. He married Karen (Collins) Reinwald on March 8, 1973 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They were married 46 years and had 3 children, Michelle (Reinwald) Barnett and spouse Kenneth Barnett of Chouteau, Oklahoma, James Reinwald, Jr and spouse Monique Rogers Reinwald of Sutherlin, Oregon, Crystal Reinwald of Langley, Oklahoma, and Lisa Mullins of Marion, Ohio (daughter from previous marriage); son, Jacob Reinwald of Sutherlin, Oregon; grandson, Timothy Barnett of Chouteau, Oklahoma, sister in law, Cheryl and Jackie Mclearan of Cleveland, Oklahoma. He left several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Reinwald, parents Herbert and Marilyn Reinwald. Jim enjoyed reading and fishing, and will be missed.
