Janice Margaret Hatfield, 84, of Pryor, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2022, at her home. She was born on February 13, 1938, in Pryor, Oklahoma; the daughter of Gene and Bernice (Winfough) Packard. On June 20, 1958, she married Billy Hatfield and they spent many wonderful years together until his passing in 2021. She spent many years dedicating her time working in various Oklahoma state parks and helping her husband with bookkeeping at the Sapulpa & Okmulgee Livestock Auction. Janice was a member of First Baptist Church in Pryor for many years and was a server of God. She helped with the Church decorating behind the scenes for many years and enjoyed changing out the décor for each new season, as well as decorating her Sunday school class. Janice loved her family and worked tirelessly all her life to make sure her husband and daughters needs were always met. She lived for her family and always put them first. She leaves behind many memories for all to cherish and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in the Shipman’s Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor Wendall Lang officiating. She is survived by her daughters, Kris Ramsey and husband Randy, Kelley Kerns, and Kimberly Hatfield Clark and husband Shane, all of Pryor; sister, Beverly Perkins of Pryor; 7 grandchildren, Randy and Cassie Ramsey Jr., Zack Ramsey, Lindsey Kerns, Logan Kerns, Brit Holloway, Billy and Catherine, and Brooke Holloway; 4 great grandchildren, Skylar Crisp, Kenna Ramsey, Ryder Ramsey, and Brea Ramsey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Bernice; husband, Billy Leon Hatfield; and four sisters, Dorothy Alberty, Mary Haley, Neta Hathcock, and Phyllis Gentry.
