Jay P. Ketterman, 74, of Chouteau, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in Tulsa. He was born on August 10, 1946 in Nevada, Missouri; the son of JP and Joyce (Mahurin) Ketterman. Jay served his country in the United States Navy in the mid 1960’s. He worked in the trucking industry most of his life as a Truck Driver and also for a Tour Bus Company, traveling all over the United States. He married Rosemary on April 28, 1981 and have celebrated 39 years of marriage. He loved to travel and to spend time with his wife while doing all his favorite hobbies. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jay is survived by his wife, Rosemary Ketterman of the home; daughters, Christian Lemay and husband John of Jamestown, North Carolina and Jayme Nixon and husband Josh of Muskogee, Oklahoma; step son, Matthew Johnson of Wagoner, Oklahoma; step daughters, Susannah Hodges and husband Paul of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Melissa Ayers and husband Clay of Claremore, Oklahoma; mother, Joyce Ketterman of Salina, Oklahoma; brother, Timothy Ketterman of Salina, Oklahoma; sisters, Darlene Shrum of Pryor, Oklahoma, Towanda Allen of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Terry Tiegen of Florida; Janette Davidson of Salina, Oklahoma, Angie Johnson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and Tammy Sawyer of North Padre Island, Texas; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, JP Ketterman.
