Jerry Carson

Jerry Dale Carson, 86 of Locust Grove, passed away on November 24, 2016 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was born June 22, 1930 in Borger, Texas; the son of Samuel Forrest and Sylvia Christina (Thomas) Carson. In May 1955 he married, Annaleen Lacroix, which lasted a wonderful 61 years. Jerry also faithfully served his country in the United States Navy. After being honorably discharged, returned home to work for Phillips 66, as a Plant Superintendent. Jerry enjoyed being an artist and painting western and native art while also attending a correspondent school for famous artist. He had a special love for his 2 children and his wife. Everyone that knew him loved him and said he was a great friend, husband and father. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his; son, Eric Larkin Carson of Tennessee; daughter, Christina "Chrissy" Dale Carson Metivier and husband Roland of Pasadena, California; brother, Robert S. Carson in Texas; and 2 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annaleen Carson; parents, Samuel and Christina Carson.
