J.H. Meyers

J.H. Meyers, 81, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Claremore. He was born on January 19, 1938 in Pryor, Oklahoma. J.H. worked most of his life for Pryor Public Schools as a custodian and was a member of the First Church of God in Pryor. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing dominoes and spending time with family and friends. He leaves behind many memories for his family to remember and will be deeply missed.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in the Adair Cemetery with Reverend Andrew Rehbein officiating. Come and go visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.., Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Shipman’s Funeral Home. J.H. is survived by his sisters, Lavonne Meyers of Pryor, Oklahoma and Glenna Becker of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 2 nieces, Jennifer Lightle of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Jeri Greene of Texas; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Thelma Meyers.
