Jimmie Jones

Jimmie Clarence Jones, 74, of Pryor, passed from this life on Monday, January 31, 2022, in Pryor. He was born on September 14, 1947 in Pryor; the son of Clarence and Zola (Holman) Jones. Being a life-long resident of Pryor, he was a member of the First Baptist Church, Elks Lodge, and the Masonic Lodge of Pryor and Adair. He retired from working many years at Georgia Pacific and currently enjoyed smoking meat for family and friends. He leaves behind many wonderful memories for all to cherish and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sisters Mary Ann Strawhun of Pryor, and Barbara Pogue and husband Jim of Colorado Springs, Colorado; nephews Scott Horton and wife Ann of Pryor, and Matt Pogue and wife Renee of Colorado Springs, Colorado; niece, Stephanie Webster and husband Jerry of Pryor; and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Zola; and nephew, Mark Pogue.
