Jimmy Martin

Jimmy Lee Martin, 76, of Pryor, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Tulsa. He was born on January 15, 1945 in Wagoner, Oklahoma; the son of Melvin “Joe” Martin and Vivian Nadine “Maw” (Stillwell) Shahan. Jimmy had a passion for animals, especially his dog, Diamond, and worked for 15 years as Animal Patrol for the Pryor Police Department. He also worked at the Feed Store, and various other places throughout his lifetime. Jimmy loved being outdoors and spending time with those he loved most. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and leaves behind many memories for his family to cherish.

Jimmy is survived by his daughter, Lisa Vivion and husband David of Pryor, Oklahoma; son, Jimmy Martin, Jr., and wife Kristen of Claremore, Oklahoma; 2 grandchildren: Jakob and Adleigh Martin; step daughter, Katrina Jenkins of Pryor, Oklahoma; step son, James Jenkins of Locust Grove, Oklahoma;  7 step- grandchildren; 3 brothers, 1 sister and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Martin and Vivian Shahan; his love, Vickie; and brother, Melvin Martin.
